We met just twice for the Mike Roache firefighter statues when I was on the Glen Ellyn FD but I was so impressed that I have continued in the fire service now some 30 odd years overall. Rest in peace.

John and I were classmates at OPRFHS. We played on the same football and wrestling teams from 1954 to 1958. We had met at many of our reunions and discussed the great times we had together. He will be greatly missed by this writer. I am sorry we could not hsve said "Good-bye" !!!

Now that you have answered your last alarm brother, we can only remember the good times together and all the close calls we so heartily laughed about. The old stories will still be told over coffee in the station kitchens. Thankyou for your service on our Penswion Board could not have done it without you. You will be missed.
