Read MoreI just found out from my cousin Bill who put in his air conditioning that John had passed away. I always enjoyed visiting with John when he would call me to fix something electrical in his home. We shared being veterans of the military and NASA. This makes me sad. My thoughts are with his family at this time. I lost a friend.

I am very sorry to hear of your father's passing.
I do remember taking my 1st. college level course, at Padua, through Kent state, a Geology summer class.
Oddly enough:I tried to remember who was the spelunker,within the month, and could not then;I do now.

We really enjoyed knowing your Dad as one of our Mom's (Lucille Schultz) dancing friends. His wit was unparalleled, and he knew how to keep everyone in stitches! From his WWII stories, to his jokes, he will be greatly missed by all of us. We're all better off for having known him. May he rest in peace.
