Not sure what to say?

With this great loss, I send my thoughts and prayers to you, John's family and friends. I know that he will be missed by all those who knew him. He was a fine man, a true professional, who I had great respect for. I honor his memory.

I was just getting to know John again after many years. I am saddened by his early passing.

I did not know john well. I knew his parents better. we all attended the presbyterian church in chelsea when he was real young.I was sadden to read his obituary in sunday world.

My sincerest condolences to Brian and family, for the loss of Corky. I have many fond memories of times spent as a youth in Chelsea, when the Upps were our neighbors across the street. I know he will be missed.

I will sadly miss John and our Monday lunches. I worked with him at the Tulsa Jail for many years and always looked forward to our time together. He was very professional and caring for his patients. I know he's in a better place not having to endure the pain and weakness of his illness.

Deeply saddened. We knew John was fighting prostate cancer, didn't keep in touch nearly as much as should have. Many fond memories. John and I were roommates in Dental School. It was John who found me a decent job to considerably help both of us get through Dental School on a financial basis. John found a listing for jobs on the bulletin board at the school, took it down and brought it to me. We trained all summer 1966 at Trinity Lutheran Hospital in KC and worked there every weekend...

My thoughts and prayers will remain with you forever. I know you are in God's hands now. With love,
