I'll see you in the breeze off the lake
I'll feel your soul close by
You'll be there in every laugh and smile
In every friendly "hi"
You were so full of life
I just can't say goodbye
So, "so long" for now, my friend
With a tear in my eye

Fr. Valley was a joy-filled man. When he came to St. William it was a treat. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and perpetual light shine on him. May he rest in peace.

Fr. Valley was an inspiration to us all. You couldn't talk to him or hear his homily without feeling better . He was a holy man and now walks in God's paradise. Rest in eternal peace,"Happy Jack".

Rest In Peace Fr. Valley. As my Confessor, you’ve helped me through some of my hardest times. I know our Lord will have a special place for you in heaven!!! My heart is saddened by your passing on.

We only spoke once. Father was recommended to us by friends when we needed spiritual direction, wisdom and grace to handle a very difficult family matter. In one telephone visit, he accepted us with warmth and humor, gave us confidence in God's love and amazing grace, and helped us prepare a practical strategy to actively love our granddaugther in concrete ways. It was like a morning with Jesus. We will miss you Father, but know you are in the arms of Mother Mary, Jesus and your Friend,...

i always loved his homily, Father Valley always had a way to grab your attention.
RIP Father Valley you will be forever missed.

Father is a true gift from God for our generation. Mass with father was a true blessing we grew closer to God because of him. We love you father John and will keep you in our heart..
