John A. Van Dinter

Another year has passed, but John´s memory will continue to live on with me.

It is said nothing happens by coincidence...just a few days ago I was thinking of John and today I receive this email regarding the one-year anniversary of his passing. John was such a wonderful man. He mentored me when I started my management position in the Sheriff´s Department. He was not only my superior, but my friend. I will always miss him and will never forget him.

John Van Dinter, may you rest in peace. My appreciation for you as my physics and chemistry teacher at Holy Name Seminary has, like a fine wine, grown stronger with each passing year. Thank you for all of your years of instruction to so many alumni of HNS. R.I.P

It was with great sadness that I learned of John's passing on Monday. He was my captain in the Dane Co. Sheriff's Dept. many years ago. His gentle nature yet firm convictions will forever be with me. Sincerest sympathy to John's family.
