Miki & family:

Time sure passes quickly. It seems like just yesterday that I read about John's passing. I hope that time has softened your grieving and I know tha your love and endearment will continue for the rest of your lives. He was such a dear man. I'll never forget him. I hope that our paths will cross one of these days.

Miki,

I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. My condolences to you and your entire family, he left much too soon.

Jo contacted me to let me know what happened and had mentioned how her and Bob enjoyed your visit to the DC area and the chance to catch up with the families and get to know John.

I will continue to keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers while you go through this difficult time.

Ellen

Julee and Family
I was just told of Johns passing by Louise Gatch. My family lived in Pine Hurst at the same time as yours. Your name brings back memories of youth, young families and children running in wheat fields in Beaverton. John will be greatly missed.

Miki, John, Laura and family:

I've been out of state for the last two months and just saw John's obituary. Sorry to have missed the funeral. John was truly a nice person. While I haven't seen much of you since my Holy Family days, you haven't been forgotten. Thanks for the kindnesses you've shown to me. I hope your period of grieving passes quickly.

Miki and family:

I am so sorry to hear about John passing away. We often were Eucharistic Ministers together. John was such a gentle, faith filled man and he will sorely be missed. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Nikki Klutho

Dear Miki I am so sorry to hear about John. He was always so nice to me. I remember his smile and his kindness. I hope you all find comfort in your memories. It was always obvious to me that he loved all his family very much.

John Van Houten was my landlord and I cannot give enough thanks for the help, kindness, and generosity he and Miki have shown us, despite our often frustrating tendencies. 2 decades worth of Reedies stand behind me in thanking the Van Houtens.

Rest in Peace, John.

Blessings and Prayers to the Family and Friends of John. I am saddened to hear that he has passed. He was my manager at the West Linn Branch when I was in Branch Operations. I have good memories of John and my association with him.
Most Sincerely, Patsy Gix Hunt
