Not sure what to say?

Dear Renee and family, Ken & I were so deeply saddened to hear about John's passing. I knew John from way back when his kids were in Kindergarten at Ada Christian School. While greeting at Ada Bible Church the last 5 years, we enjoyed seeing both John and Renee, as they came into church. We watch him fight through his motorcycle injury and come out of it positive, continuing to press on. He always hugged me at the door and had some kind of compliment for me and often a hand shake, hug or...

Renee, I am so very sorry for your loss, I am praying for you during this very difficult time.

Renee, My heart goes out to you and your family following the tragic passing of John. You are in our prayers today and the day and weeks to follow. Sorry I am not able to attend the visitation or funeral. Sincerely Sandy (Marsman) Jeltema

We were shocked and saddened to hear about John´s sudden passing. We always looked forward to his loving greeting and hugs at Ada Bible. He indeed was a testament to God´s love and faithfulness in his life´s challenging journey. Prayers for Renee and his family. We will miss him.

What can I say, John was John. He was one special guy in so many ways. He had such an ease of engaging a conversation with just about anyone. Sometimes to Renee´s embarrassment but John was John. It really was a wonderful gift. I´ll always cherish our many trips and adventures together. Playing either NUTS or dominoes. Gouda cheese and crackers. His many hats. Precious precious memories. We will dearly miss you John and don´t worry, we´ll be there for Renee and the rest of the...

Dear Renee and family, My deepest condolences to you as you mourn the passing of John. The few times that I met John, I was always impressed by his outgoing manners and his positive love of life. While life was difficult and he struggled, he was an example to all around of God's infinite love and care for his children.

Renee, may you find comfort and peace in this difficult time. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Carol Sruba

I'm sorry to hear about John's passing. Living on Lynch street with the Vander Wilp's as my neighbors I have fond memories of the family at Grandville Ave church, Southwest Christian and Calvin Christian. Praying for peace and comfort for the entire family as you go through this difficult time.

I just heard of Mr. VanderWilps passing from Courtney Miller Serne. I grew up with/went to school with both Kristie and Courtney. I'm so sorry for the families loss. He's celebrating being with Kristie now in the presence of Jesus. I hope the family finds peace in Him. Love, in Christ.
