Not sure what to say?

I was thinking of John today out of the blue. I had not realized that he had passed. I suppose that day will come for all of us. I respected John as a colleague and a man of many talents. I recall fondly making morning rounds at the hospital after he was bitten by his boat. John said, Captain, what would they do with this leg in combat. I knew he was asking for advice after hours of surgery. I looked at him and said doc, they would cut it off. I miss that old man! God bless. Alan Leifeste MD

Bradna, just discovered this obit and very sorry but know what a grand life John and you led. Max and I happened to be around during some of it. Some super memories through the medical world. Margin Stovall Latham

Bradna, Rose Marie and family, my sincere condolences for your loss. As a physician, John was helpful to me as I started my practice in Beaumont, TX. I remember him showing me the boat that he built and worked on for years with pride and his excitement on its maiden voyage. Keeping you in prayer. Dr Ruby Holloway
