John Charles Vatterott

The first time I met John Vatterott was on a snowy winters day. I was an instructor at the Sunset Hills campus and my usual class of 20 or so had dwindled to six diehard students so we were in the shop working on some fun stuff (it was educational too) when this distinguished looking man walked in the back door. John, you lived a life well lived and stayed on the narrow road following the path God had chosen for you. Your, and Joan´s endless generosity helped so many in so many ways. I am truly blessed to have known you. Rest in peace.

A beautiful and amazing man with a great big heart!! Both John and his wife, Joan have given so much of their selves and time in helping so many!!! I met them over 16yrs. ago thru the Guadalupe resale shop!!! God Bless to you Joan and to your beautiful family!! John will always remain in our hearts!!

John was a visionary, an educator at heart, and a kind of minister-philanthropist. His generosity touched thousands of lives, and he never made his generosity about him. Rest in peace, John.
