Not sure what to say?

Dr Vaughn was a kindred spirit...I knew that I had to get to know this man after my first class with him: Investigation of Acute Outbteaks. It wasn't long before he because a mentor during my 6 years at Tulane. We reunited during his 51 years at Tulane Celebration....and had a wonderful 6-hour lunch catching up with our lives and loves. A wonderful person!

Dr. Vaughn will always be in my memories. He was a great educator and friend. I still have the pictures when he retired from Tulane SPHTM.

I will always love you!
Your special angel,
Audrey

Dr. Vaughn was a wonderful friend and colleague. He was so well liked by his peers and students. Jack was a great guy with a big heart. He stood up for his friends and helped bring the SPH&TM the reputation it enjoys today. Jack and Virginia will always be fondly remembered. A.J. & Bonnie Englande

The very first person I met at Tulane was Jack Vaughn -- in 1976! I showed up two weeks before classes and the made me feel right at home. I ended up working at Tulane for over 25 years and always felt that he had the students in his heart. I will miss him very much. Penny Jessop

Dr. Vaughn was my adviser and mentor at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. He was responsible for me completing the degree requirements for MPH. He especially pushed me through Biostatistics in my first year in the program. He was very supportive of me, an outstanding professor and teacher and a great person. I will miss him.

Dr.and Mrs.Vaughn will always have a special place in our hearts. They were warm, gracious, caring, fun loving people. Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to their wonderful family during this time of "Papa Jack"s passing.

We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.
