Not sure what to say?

Just saw this today and wanted to send condolences to John´s family. We were friends in high school, but hadn´t been in touch for many years until a Facebook birthday wish caused us to exchange a couple messages several years ago. It was a warm and cordial encounter, and reminded me of his kind and laid-back presence those many years ago. Rest in peace John, and condolences to those who loved you.

Another of the Sigs gone too soon. Johnny was such a great guy. His smiling face and curly hair could brighten even a cloudy day. To his family I send my love and condolences. He was loved by many.

I am in shock reading this news. Johnny and I were fraternity Brothers and also served in Student Government together. Through FB Johnny found me a few years back and we have checked in with each other multiple times. I last saw Johnny at John McLeans White Rose Ceremony. What a Friend we had in Jesus. He fought the good fight and finished his work - well done my Brother. In Hoc and RIP.

Although I hadn´t seen Johnny in a number of years he was always one of my favorite people. Gone too soon.

Johnny, I´ll never forget the infamous 1969 CYO dance you, Larry, Woody, and I almost made it to. Not will I forget all the great times you Lea, and I shared at all the Sigma Chi functions and all the times the 3 of us shared serving in the USA SGA. We ruled, didn´t we! Sometimes you never miss someone until they´re gone. We pray to Mary for your family and loved ones that She intercede on your behalf so that they find peace during this very difficult time. Mike and Lea

Life is but a Stopping Place Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay... Our destination is a place, Far greater than we know. For some the journey's quicker, For some the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends, We'll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the...

Had not seen John in many years but fondly remember him as one of the good souls....Rest in Peace... Ben Hill
