It brought tears to my eyes when I read John's obituary today. It was a real honor to have met and spent time with John. I was amazed by how sweet and humble he was. John was the original custom guitar builder to the stars. He built and sold his iconic guitars to many of the greatest players in musical history. We had some real memorable conversations and he shared with me countless stories and memories surrounding those shiny, mythical guitars. St Pete, Tampa Bay and the entire guitar...

Less than a year ago, Don Gilbert, Charley Fralick and my self went to lunch to talk about the past. I asked if anyone had seen John. Don said he thought he knew where he lived and I suggested we find him to include him in our little memory tour. We all worked together for Don in the early 90's.
