My deepest sympathy to the Ventura family and to his friends, colleagues and mentees whose lives were enhanced by John. John was a man of his word. He was generous, creative and full of a desire to live a happy life. He loved people.

We will miss the emails and text messages he often signed off on in the wee hours of the morning. The creative side of John’s brain started working hours before the rest of the world rolled out of bed. John spent his days helping those less...

Dear Ventura family, I knew John as a child growing up in the West End of Houston. I'm not surprised to read about the wonderful man he became. He was a caring and thoughtful young boy. My prayers and condolances go out to the family.

The loss of John is truly sad. We are all diminished by his passing. It was one of the true pleasures of my life to have known him. He was a great friend and is deeply missed.

John Ventura is a name known by all in the Rio Grande Valley. When Mr. Ventura appeared in Court, everyone listened...We knew he was the authority in his field. I am, not only a better attorney, but a better person for having known him...He touched the lives of many. Our thoughts and sympathy to his family.

My deepest sympathy to John's family. He was a deeply caring and compassionate person. I will forever cherish his friendship. The many who knew John grieve with you.

The Ventura family are in my prayers and thoughts. We appreciate all the hard work John provided to consumers regarding law.

John was a kind and wonderful person who cared passionately about helping people. He had a gift for helping people to understand the law and his smile showed it. He will be sadly missed by his colleagues everywhere. He was a wonderful friend that will be missed in this world.

I am deeply sadden by the passing of Mr.Ventura . He was such a kind compassionate man. Mr Ventura was my customer at the post office. He was usually the first in line every morning. As he mailed his books,we often talked about life and family. One morning I mentioned a legal issued I was having. At this time I did'nt even know he was an attorney.
He immediately offered to help me. Not only did he help, but even while hospitalize he had one of his students to follow up and make sure that...
