For many years each summer, I had the pleasure of talking with John during his daily walks in Bronson Park. I'm with Kalamazoo in Bloom, the nonprofit organization that plants and maintains Bronson Park's flower beds each summer. The gardeners and I agree that John was an absolute delight.
