Not sure what to say?

John, Your Florida friends continue to miss our dear friend and brother. We often think of you and tell stories about our many, many good times over so many years. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for having been such a special guy and wonderful friend to all who knew you. Rest in peace brother.

I knew John and Cissy beginning in our teenage years in Terrytown. I had such respect for John, as did everyone who was lucky enough to have known him. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and would help anyone that needed it. This world is missing a truly bright light without him in it. My deepest sympathy to Cissy and family.

I met John in ' 84 and remember it well. It was my first time at Lenfants and he walked up to me and said his friend would like to dance; he pointed across the room to Jeff Lawrence and I said yes. The song was George Michael "Never Gona Dance Again". My Mom went to Heaven August 9th last year. I hope she has met him and they are having a great time dancing.

I miss my brother and I wish he was here . I have so many things to tell him .I am so sad I lost my big brother he was one of my best friends . John you will always be with me in my heart . There will not be a day that I won't think about you .We had a lot of beautiful times together .John see you in Heaven R.I.P. Love your sister Cissy

I am saddened to hear of John's passing, I will always remember the great times we shared as teenagers. The many fond memories will forever keep JV alive in my heart. You were taken much too soon John, may you rest in peace. Your friend, Craig

I do not know what I will do without my brother. I love him with all my heart and now it is broken. I will miss his smile, kind heart, his intelligent mind and his fun loving easy going way of life. But most of all, I will miss his voice, hugs and being there. I do not know how the world goes on without him. I love you with all my heart and will forever be thinking about you.

Your little Sis
Tammy

I will not say goodbye because I know you are saving me a place.Cissy,Tammy, Fred, Tom. Chris and Victoria,I am so saddened by John's passing, He brought so much light in to my life and I hope he has found an angel to hold his hand, the past few months he just wanted his hand held.R I P JV and I will daince in the rain!!!

Be strong my friend Judy! John had a short life, but a full and happy one. He really did do it his way. I will always remember him playing the (player) piano with such fun and gusto and "speaking French" to the dog.

We all miss him, but I will smile when I think of him, for he brought joy to us all.

He will always be in our hearts and in our minds.

Be strong my friend Judy! There is a brand new angel looking after you.

We are here for you.

I am so sorry to hear about John's passing. He will always be remembered as a happy go lucky guy, the cool guy with the cool car and cool friends! I can't say I ever remember him without a smile on his face...He was too young to go and will be sadly missed by all. Growing up he was like a brother to me, and it breaks my heart to have him gone. Know my thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.
Love,
