Not sure what to say?

I lived next door to John and Lisa in Cypress. I just found out today about this sad news. I loved chatting with both John and Lisa, as John and I were golfers. Lisa came to me to stop their dog from getting attacked one day and I'll never forget that...

Prayers being sent now...

I have known John since he was nine years old. I worked with him when he was a teenager at Midland Travel. He was such a happy go lucky boy. I Have been married to his dad for 39 years. I thought of him as more than a step son. I loved him as my own. I am heartbroken to have lost him at such a young age. I pray for our daughter-in-law and our grandchildren and our great grandchildren. I know they are hurting. We love you all. Rest in the arms of Jesus John. We will miss you so very much.

Lisa & family. Lidia & I send our condolences for the loss of John. We are better for knowing you both through finding the waters church or the other common area of the Dallas Cowboys whom we’d scream & cheer for on Sundays. But honestly the love of Christ is what we saw through you both which inspired us most in marriage. John’s love for the Lord & his family will always stay with us always. God bless.

When we first met John I thought “Who IS this guy?!” I soon realized he was a fun loving true friend, and a wonderful caring husband, father and grandfather. He adored his family and had a huge heart. We are thankful for all the memories - I can still hear his laughter. See you on down the road, John.
Love, Greg and Donna Martin

We are grieving with your family, Brad and Nicole. May the Lord comfort your heart.

I used to ask John how a low class Lee Rebel ever convinced a sweetheart Permian girl to marry him. He had many different answers-all of them unique. By God’s grace he did and he and Lisa had a great life together. For better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health as long as they both shall live they vowed and kept it until John’s time to go home. They raised 3 fine children-several grandchildren and shared a lifetime together. I’ve been blessed to know them both. John was...

Such a nice guy. Ill always remember his comforting hug the morning of my bus crash. He hugged me then helped others involved outside knowing I couldn’t leave my students. God was watching over us.
I loved his sarcasm and generosity. Thank you . Rest in Peace Jv .love to Lisa and Tiffany and all the family. Sorry ill miss his memorial.

John had a smile and laugh as big as Texas!

I was shocked and saddened when I heard that John had passed because he just financed a machine for me sold to Houston last month. I last spoke to John 3 days before Christmas when he wished me a “Merry Christmas my friend”.

John’s last post on LinkedIn shortly before Christmas turned out to be very prophetic-“Thank you all for being a part of my life.” I’m so glad that I had the chance to work with him both at DMG and after...

John was the sweetest, always with a huge smile friend I met at Camp Hoblitzelle camp staff the summer of 1978. My condolences to the family. He walked the walk and talked the talk in serving His Savior. ❤
