I work at the port of Wilmington and I have worked with John over the past 10 years. Everytime we seen each other it was always a positive and uplifting experience.. I didn't know him on a very personal level but the man always asked "Hows ur daughter" or " Awe man its great to see u. I'm so glad ur doing good".. I don't even have words to describe the sadness! I've known John since moving to Rosenhayn in 1975. He brought everyone so many laughs and joy throughout the years. You will be missed by everyone! Love you man!

I did not personally know John but working on same street he lived I often saw him outside getting truck ready to leave. He always exchanged a hello wave with me. My sincere condolences go out to John's wife and children.
