I will always remember John as an incredible human being. I have had the pleasure of knowing John and Barbara for 6 years. John was always so uplifting to be around. He had a smile and kind word for everyone. One special memory is the day he and Barbara invited us to a baseball game and John taught my stepdaugther and I how to read the stats. It gave me an appreciation for the game that I hadn't known before.

John was my hero, my biggest cheerleader, supporter and love of my life for over 21 years. He was the kindest, most generous and giving man i have ever known. I will miss him everyday but the wonderful memories we shared will warm my heart and make me smile in the days and years ahead. He is my guardian angel now.

John loved his football back in the day. We played together in the Va. Beach Men's Flag Football league. He was definitely the star of our team. I also worked with John at the NARF. He was definitely one of the "good" guys. RIP brother!
