Not sure what to say?

I just found out about it a couple of days ago. My world is still rocked. John and I lived in the same neighborhood. I knew John through High School and up until he moved to South Carolina. I was at the wedding. He was one of my best friends. The things I read about John in the intro are amazing. He accomplished so much in so little time. So smart. I am proud to have been his friend. John had been to my house many times. One day he came over with his electric guitar and amp. He played Purple...

It has been over 11 years, but Dr. von Lehe was the most amazing and kind doctor to my twin boys and I. He is deeply missed- even after all these years. I will forever remember him- and keep his family in my thoughts and prayers.

My husband, William Swope, and I went to law school with John. He was a kind and honorable man. Our deepest sympathies to his family. You will be in our prayers.

My name is Jasmin Brooks. I served with Lt Col von Lehe in Afghanistan. I was such a great doctor, mand, and soldier. He definitely left an impression on me and taught me alot that I will never forget. My prayers are with the family.

Helen and I express our deepest regrets of Dr. Von Lehe passing. We were very surprised and saddened. He was a great Doctor and we will miss him.

Andrea,
I just found out about John today from Phyllis and Adrienne. I saw John in June as a patient. He was a wonderful doctor and always listened and cared about you. When I ask about you he always lit up. My heart aches for you and your children. Please let me know if I can do anything. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Love you

Dearest Andrea,
Words of thanksgiving of having known John ("Dr. John von") are redundant and inadequate. We all who knew him echo the same experiences in having known and loved him. He was indeed consistent with all who knew him. He was sincere in the truest definition of the word. It was an honor to have worked with him and to have been his patient. His compassion for his practice, nursing home, and hospice patients was a comfort to all. And when you were by his side, his face just...

Andrea,

My heart goes out to you and your family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days and months ahead. Lance and I only met John once, but he made an impression on us, little did we know of his great accomplishments. My only regret is that we didn't get to know him better. God Bless,

Andrea, Chris, Charlie, Reagan, and Kinsey

John was such a great person and friend I selfishly will miss him greatly. So I can't imagine how much all of you miss him. Andrea I just wanted to let you know if there is any thing we can do for you please don't hesitate to ask, I would be glad to give back to my friend.
