Read MoreMy wife Carole and I were married by Father Jack over 40 years ago, and had kept in touch with him with yearly Christmas letters ever since. I tried to mail a card to him and it came back undeliverable. Now I know why. This is a devastating loss for me and my family. Rest in Peace, Father Jack. God loves you, and so do we.

With sincere sympathy to all of Fr.Jack's family on your loss. I was a P.O. in Newark and would meet and greet Fr Jack after mass at Saint Patrick's. When our 17 year old son passed away in 1990 he made a visit to the funeral home to pay his respects, in his quiet unassuming way. May he R.I.P.
