Not sure what to say?

Buz was the father of my best girlhood friend, Melissa. We were inseparable for many years and I remember Buz as a gentle, warm presence in my childhood. I will always treasure the many hours I spent in the Walker family home. He was a good friend to my parents, a good community member and a great garbage man! (Walker Garbage was our garbage service for my entire childhood!) My love to all the Walkers, especially my friend, Melissa.

Wishing comfort and healing to all those close to Buz. A life well lived, blessed with a wonderful family.

Buz Walker was our garbage man when we moved into our home in the Spring of 1958. He was a very nice man and very good worker. He was friendly always. Our son, Rick, was a Beaverton bus driver for a time and picked up Buz and Pat's boys on his route. Our surrounding neighborhood was much smaller in those early days and most of us knew our neighbors. My sympathy goes to his wife, Gloria, and Buz' family.

Blessings,

Buz was always so good to my dad “Douglas Miller“ when he worked for the walker company. He always had big smile on his face every time we went in to say hallo. Sending my love and prays to the walker family. Natalie Ramsey

For many years, I enjoyed the short visits with Buzz and Pat, and their daughter Melissa, who was a friend over the years of our daughter Karen. Walker Garbage was the service for our home, and I always enjoyed a wave. Wonderful family and community members. I am so very sorry.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

He was one of the kindest, most caring man I have known. He always made my family feel welcome. He even found us a house just down the road from him. He will be very missed.

I feel as though I have known the Walker family forever – at the kids' school and as they all grew up, at church, and as a recipient of such good service through Walker Garbage for 50+ years. Buz was always good natured and friendly and a wonderful community member. A wonderful family! Donna Parsons
