Not sure what to say?

I was sorry to hear about John's passing.
John and Mary were very close friends of my parents Johnny and Sophie Richmond. They spent many happy days together.

My condolences to the Wall Family,
AT, I was unaware of the passing of you father, he obviously had many accomplishments and I am sure made you all very proud! My best to all in this difficult time!

To: DOC Director Wall & family,

We have known John for over 30 years. He always had a kind word for everyone. We've always been aware of his dedication to Grace Church and Episcopal Charities. Until we read his obituary, we never realized how many charities and community service activities he was involved in. But that was John's way: hardworking yet humble. People like John don't pass this way very often. A.T. and Maria, Polly and Robert and his grandchildren; our thoughts and prayers are with you. Rick and Paula Keogh.

My family will keep you and your family in our prayers. I was very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Bud Gardner and Family

I met Mr. Wall when I worked at RI Hospital Trust Bank. He was well-respected by many. His leadership will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I had the honor and pleasure of knowing John for many years and he was always a humble, kind and compassionate person. He added a great deal to the many organizations with which he was involved and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Great memories, my classmate and roommate at St George's. Especially at our 65th five years ago. Thanks for help when we spoke week before last. All the best and our sympathy to your children and g-children. Audrey and Peter Ward.

John was a good friend and an inspiration for community leadership. Few have done so much for Rhode Island volunteerism. He will be missed by all. Our best to all members of his family in this time of sadness.....
