Rest Easy (buster) a man of all seasons

I have known John since 1957, meeting on the JCSU campus. We became good friends and shared many times with our two families. We did a lot of traveling together in and out of the country. We checked on each other daily. I will cherish the memories forever. I have lost a great friend, but heaven's gain. See you later Brother.

My name is Annie Pride Turner. This is difficult to write, but I have to tell you about John Oliver Wallace. He was one of the finest me that I have knew. He was kind, gentle, generous and caring men that I have known.
I met his family as a child, when they would go with my family to Atlantic Beach in the summer. It was the only beach that Blacks could go to. John has been my friend every since then. He graduated with my sister (Gwendolyn Pride Bostic) from J. H. Gunn...

I have known John all my life. It has always been good. His family traveled to the Atlantic Beach together with my family in the summers. John Oliver and my sister Gwendolyn Pride Bostic, graduated together from J. H. Gunn High School (1957) and from JCSU (1961) in the same year.
