Not sure what to say?

I had the honor of knowing John from his days as a deacon. I had the honor of singing, playing the organ and helping him prepare his first Mass at St. Catherine's in Somerville. Although we were in touch off and on over the years, when we spoke it was as if we picked up right where we left off. He helped me through a very tough time in my life for which I will never forget. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I am very sorry about the death of father walsh. He was a great person.

God Bless

I knew Fr. John from our years as Christian Brothers. he was a devout and sincere man, always willing to help someone out. I met him again at a reunion in 2004, and his same warmth and qualities were clearly evident. His passing is a great loss. My condolences to Fr. John's family and friends.

Yet not having seen John in almost 35 years, I found him as warm and welcoming as if we had only seen each other a few days or weeks before. My condolences and prayers to the Walsh family on the all too soon loss of...

My sincere sympathy to Cousin John's family at this sad time.

Thank you Padre. The people of St. Martha's Church sincerely appreciated the work, the blessings, the grace and dignity that you brought to the (our) parish. I will miss him, I will pray for him and I shall keep him in my prayers for the remainder of my life. Thank you Lord for the time your gave us with Fr. John. Thank you Fr. John for who were, for what you did and for the peace and guidance you provided to the people of Plainville and the parish of St. Martha. I have played music for...
