Lots of long-distance sympathy to all the Waters family. Gannett Fleming has been a major part of this family's life for over 50 years, beginning with my late husband who worked for no other firm after college graduation and ending with our son who continued to work for and be loyal to the firm until 3rd Qtr last year. I only ever remember hearing good things from my late husband about John Waters. May you cling to each other for support during the tough times ahead, and may you be...

To the Waters Family: I worked with Mr. Waters for a few years. I was not directly in the department but I had the opportunity working for him at times in Accounting. I hope his laugh, smile and reassuring words stay within your hearts for every. Yes he's gone, but the memory is not. Blessing to the family.

My sympathy to the entire family. During my early years at GF (now in my 38th) I was part of the staff serving under John in the Pollution Control Division. He was a good mentor to we young engineers.
Some of my fondest memories of John are playing golf with him, as we were both members of the "Niblicks" golf league team - he was always straight down the middle, and I was usually "elsewhere", but it was always had a good time!

I was very sorry to hear about John's passing. I've been employed with Gannett Fleming for over 30 years and had the pleasure of working with John before his retirement. He was well liked and well respected by his peers and by those who had the good fortune to know him and work with him. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My sympathy to John's family...I worked at Gannett Fleming (as secretary to Jim Madara) from 1975-85. Take comfort in memories of your time together.
