Dr. John McClain Watkins

I’ve known John as a student of his, a colleague and neighbor. His devotion to Jackie was remarkable. He lived life to the fullest.

I’m so sorry for your loss and must add that I was particularly touched by your description of John that “Generosity and humor lived in equal parts within him.” In every encounter I had with John, I found that to be true. I remember reading his excellent play, “Frontier Justice,” after it had been performed in Montana. He will be remembered as an extraordinarily kind and gentle man and a wonderful Ferris colleague.
