Dear friends,

We are truly sorry to hear about your father and regret we could not offer our sympathy in person. We have been out of town all week and returned last night to learn that our dear friend and long-time associate has passed.

Your dad and I go back nearly fifty years. We worked together about forty of those years and shared many joys and frustrations throughout the years. He was one of my favorites at the U; we seemed to understand each other, even without having to speak.

His impact in education will be sorely missed, but his legacy will live on.

Prayerfully,

Caesar and Lynda Carrino

I grew up in Fairlawn Community United Church of Christ (originally congregational). I and my late parents thought highly of Dr. Watt and found him such a kind man. A very involved man in the community, he brought out such beautiful music in our church. He will be missed

Debbie & Jenny -
My deepest sympathies to you and your families on the loss of your dad. I have so many fond memories of the old neighborhood on Greenwood. I am sure it was not easy for your mom & dad to put up with me being the little brat next door. I am certain our parents are enjoying each others company in heaven. I will be thinking of you during this difficult time.
God Bless
Terry
