Not sure what to say?

I am deeply saddened to hear of this. Debi was a second mother to me. I loved her so much! I am truly heartbroken and am praying for Stephen and Debi's mother.

To my dear and precious Hicks family,
WE love you sooooooo much and hurt along with you. This took my breath away when Bonny called with the news. It hit me hard a few days later. You all know how special to us you have been and this part of the family was special to us as well. Bonny told me what Wes had written in face book. I was touched. What a lovely way to let others know what has happened. Along the same spiritual thought, I pray that John, Debi and Courtney will be like...

Stephen,
My family never got to know you personally though your folks told us about you. I adored your Mom, Dad and Courtney. In fact, the Hicks family took my family in as extended family when my husband was stationed in the Air Force in Abilene. Our family lived back on the east coast so it was rare when we could get home for the holidays. The Hicks opened up their home and hearts to us. Sometime during those 20 years we met your Mom,Dad and Courtney. They treated us just like...

The world is a better place for having John, Debi and the Weaver family with us. Our thoughts and prayers will be with the family during this period of sadness and mourning.
Don & Debbie Hunter

Prayers and thoughts for the family.

Our heart felt sympathy goes to all the family.
No words can possibly express the sadness left from this tragedy.
Growing up with Elayne, I had many occasions to see the love John had for his sister & family. He had a big heart & the most infectious laugh I have known. He studied hard & he worked hard. A very strong Christian man! His wife & daughter had hearts of gold.
Love to all the family & friends of this precious family. May God wrap his loving arms around you in this time...

I don't know this family, but read about the tragedy in the paper. My heart goes out to Stephen, their son and Courtney's brother. What a terrible time for him, but it sounds like they were doing what they love and were great people. My thoughts and prayers are with you Stephen and I hope you find peace with this tragedy in the time to come. I'm so very sorry.
