Not sure what to say?

Dear friend .just found out Yery sad..will pray for him..call me to talk..francis

My Father Ed Farrell and Jack grew up together in Patterson NJ and were best friends from grade school on. Both attended Seton Hall. Though my Father's military service took us away from NJ for an extended period of time, Jack was with us for many important family events over the years. Later, he would say Mass at the house when relatives were not well enough to attend church. He blessed my Son soon after birth. So many great memories over the years. The Rev. Msgr. Wehrlen was truly...

I am so sad that I had not been able to find Jack although I had tried for several months. He was a wonderful man and a great friend to my husband Ed Farrell and to me. He married us in 1980 and a dear friend. Bless his soul. He and Ed can now visit and reminisce about all of the things they did from age 5 on. Bless all of the family and I know how much you must miss him. Anna Farrell

Jack Wehrlen was a great guy! At his 10th anniversary party he told the following story: He had just been at St. Philip's for a short time when a call came in from a parishioner who asked for Msgr. Molloy. Jack said he wasn't there but could he help? No. Can I talk to Father Ryan. He isn't here. Can I help? No. Can I talk with Father Sullivan. He isn't here. Can I help? No thank you and they hung up. He told the story with such good humor. My parents were great supporters of his work with the...

I first met Captain Jack at the Newman House at Paterson State in 1968. He accepted many college students from different schools to help build his first camp. It was an honor to know him and work for him. I still consider the Newman House my home parish when I visit NJ. You will be greatly missed.

How special it was to meet Msgr. Wehrlen at a First Communion Mass he concelebrated at Saint Peter! God bless. Linda Bolmarcich

We were privileged to have known Father John for the last 10 years. He was a wonderful caring man. Very knowledgeable about so many different subjects. He had a lovely sense of humor and loved a good joke. We will miss him.

So sorry to hear about Father John. He was so loved at St. Elizabeth´s parish in Flanders. He married both our daughters and baptized two of our grandchildren. May he Rest In Peace ! Heaven is getting a very special Angel!
