John Weidenbach "Weedy", 60, of New Egypt, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton. Born in Abbington, PA, he was a resident of New Egypt for 25 years. Weedy was a plumbing inspector for several townships in Central Jersey and loved to fish.

Son of the late Patricia Rooney, Weedy is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen Weidenbach; his two best friends, Peep and Pup; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Steve Beres; two brothers, William "Red" and Timmy Weidenbach; a brother-in-law, Joe O'Donnell and his wife Lyn; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Bilancio and her husband Sandy, Pattie O'Donnell and Teresa Christensen as well as his nephews and nieces, Stephen and his wife Kristin and their daughter Hailey, Jake, Evan, Emma and Sadie.

Funeral service will be held 2pm on Thursday, October 16th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow at Jacobstown Schoolhouse Cemetery, Jacobstown. Friends may call Thursday from 12-2pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 601 Hamilton Ave., 6th Fl. Trenton, NJ 08629.

John you were a great and generous guy, you will be very missed but still loved.

It just seems like yesterday we were young kids growing up together on Miry Brook Rd. I'm glad my dad & all of us got to see Johnny when we were in NJ 6 yrs ago. May your memories bring you peace.
