I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing! When he worked at Southern Center, he always brought a smile to my face with his profound questions about life and the quirkiness of the universe. He had a great sense of humor, too, as I learned one day when he asked me to spell "Allegheny." I didn't know that there are several different correct spellings for it, but John sure did --- and he let me know it! He got a kick out of stumping me with his question, and I just had to laugh along with him....

I had the pleasure of knowing John when he was still in his twenties. I'll never forget his knowledge of the state capitals, his gleeful laugh and his supportive family.
