My dearest, Mrs. Welch, You may not remember me, but I was one of your student at Charlotte Hyatt elementart back in 1977 and you were one of the first people to truly make a lasting impression on my life. I am so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. Know that God is with you and will give you peace and comfort now and forevermore.

To the Welch family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. John really helped me out when I needed to earn extra money, he taught me how to keep score at the peewee games so I could earn a few extra bucks. He was a very nice man and a great person. Thank you for sharing him, he will be missed by many.

I was saddened to read today of Johnny's death. He was always one of my favorite cousins. He had such a quick wit, and I just enjoyed enormously the times spent in his company. I have the fondest memories of him and you. (I think I saw you both for the last time a couple of years ago in Tuesday morning). Without a doubt, it was always such a pleasure to see you both.
