We just learned of Johnny's passing, and it was such a shock. We can only imagine how difficult this time is for you. Johnny was such a special person; he was always upbeat, and his laughter was infectious - I can still hear him saying that this person or that was "crazier than a pet coon," whatever that means. He could always make me laugh or smile, even when things seemed at their worst, and I guess that's what we'll have to remember now to get through...

Dear Stephanie & Allie,
There has never been a single day of my life that I haven't known Johnny Wellington. His family & mine lived 3 houses apart & for approx. 20 years we were not only neighbors but friends. I spent many happy hours with the Wellington's. Johnny was funny. He always made me laugh. Jamie only knew one song on the drums (Wipe-Out) & Johnny used to hide his sticks so he couldn't play it. We only learned of the sad news today. We are sorry for all of Johnny's family. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. Our prayers will be with you during the trying times ahead.
