Dr. John T. Wenders, Jr. of 2266 Westview Drive in Moscow, ID died November 28, 2006 of complications related to esophageal cancer. He was 71. He was born on September 22, 1935 in Honesdale, PA as one of two children to John T. Wenders, a local businessman, and Ella C. Swanson, a school teacher....

Prof Wenders was a life changer for me. One class with him at Uof A 1977: econ 101 was all I needed to move to economics, finance, accounting.
Top lecture: "worth" as it applies to labour. Student didactic started with no understanding to standing ovation 50 minutes later. The man was a living legion!

Jack Wenders was a unique man who could talk comfortably and authoritively with the highest of government officials...as well as a grizzled, unschooled fur-trapper from rural Idaho...and enjoy both conversations equally.
