Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts are with all of you. We have thought of you all over the years. With love, Leon and Marcia weil

Rest in peace old friend. I will always remember the fun we had at Torch Lake. I will never forget you how could I?

My mother was Jack's, Aunt Dolores Fahl, who was one of Florence's younger sisters. She has been gone now for 20 years, but she sure did enjoy receiving those phone calls from Jack. Of course, they always started with a joke! One day, my daughter, Jenni, age 3 or 4 at the time, was at grandma's house when Jack called. Jack and Jenni carried on a conversation about his "horses" in Texas. He wanted her to come see him and ride the horses. We never made it to Dallas, but at age 35 now, she...

I always looked forward to spending time with Uncle Jack, Aunt Rosanne, and my cousins. I remember them visiting us in Marion and our trips to visit them in Omaha and Dallas. One summer, my dad and Uncle Jack rented cabins in Wisconsin Lake Country. All of the kids took turns going out on the fishing boat with my dad and Uncle Jack in search of muskie. I saw a trophy of a muskie (they have many teeth!) on the wall of our lodge and knew I did not want to catch one! Jack couldn't...

My Uncle Jack was such a kind and fun person to be around. He always had a new joke ready which always brightened the room. I looked forward to his trips to Ohio where we would have him over for dinner where I could learn from his experiences. I think his wide and gracious smile will always be in my memory. I was lucky to know him and benefit from his approach to life- keep faith and family close and remember to look for the lighter side. My prayers are with the family. Sarah Wensinger-Caserta

So sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Jack's Dad, Arthur, and my grandmother, Olga Wensinger Furlong, were brother and sister. My mother, Bette Jane Furlong Knight and Jack were first cousins. I connected for the first time with Jack & Roseanne back in 2017 at the prompting of my Aunt Barbara Furlong Sorcek. Since 2017 my wife, Loretta, and I visited Jack and Roseanne at their home multiple times and even took them to one of their favorite restaurants for lunch. In 2018 they graciously...

Memories of my brother Jack - I have very fond memories of growing up with Jack. He was 2 years older than me. We shared a bedroom at home in Marion for 17 years and then another 3 years as roommates at John Carroll University in Cleveland. He was always willing to share his opinions with me, his younger brother. He was easy to get along with as he knew he was always right. Jack and I bought our first car together...a very well used 1936 Chevy for $215. Two years later I wrecked it in...
