John Henry Werring Jr.

I am very saddened to learn of John's passing.

Thanks to my late parents (Captain Joe & Linda Dobbs), I was lucky enough to have known John and Dee for over 40 years; from the early days at Roxiticus, to playing with the Wednesday Warriors at The Landings, to countless dinners parties. So many great memories!

Our entire family adored both John and Dee How could you not? Easily, two of the nicest people I have ever met...

For many years we were gifted by Mr. Werring's friendship, love and sense of humor. We were fortunate he was part of our life and have great memories to reflect on.

I will miss this good fella. I will miss his neighborly presence on my street. When I was younger, still running most evenings after work, John would often be perched on his deck at the cocktail hour. He would be in the company of his wife and little dog, and would wave a greeting or beckon me over to talk about something or other. He had an active mind and a winning, outgoing nature.
