Chadwick Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC - New London Obituary

John R. Wesoja, 55, passed away at his home in North Carolina on June 11, 2023 after losing his recent battle with cancer.
Born on September 6, 1967 in the Newport/Croydon area, John spent most of his life there. He attended Newport Schools. As an adult, John was employed for many years in both the Sunapee and Bradford Pizza Chefs and also worked at Kimball Union Academy in the hockey rink.
John enjoyed riding his motorcycle, attending concerts and also liked to spend time fishing. We will always remember him behind the counter at Pizza Chef, which was like home to him.
He is survived by his wife, Kit Wesjoa and her children; his previous spouse, Deb Wesoja and his two children, Kristen and Alex.  He also leaves behind two brothers, Bernie and Alan and various other extended family members. He is predeceased by his mother, Alice R. Wesoja and father, Ray W. Wesoja.
Per John's request there will be no funeral or celebration of life taking place.

Not sure what to say?

It grieves me to learn of John's death. We were good friends for more than a few years as kids . "Wojo" his brother Alan and I spent many days after school and in summer playing ball watching wrestling alot of fishing and even more listening to music and just talking about girls motorcycles and whatever else came up. I know he missed his life back in sunapee and it didn't surprise me when you moved back there. We didn't hang out as life pulled us in different directions but I have always...

John will always be remembered for his kindness, humor, and hard-working work ethic at Pizza Chef. I hope there are Harleys in heaven, dear friend. Ride easy and rest in peace. Love, Your Pizza Chef family
