This is your cousin, Bob Blackburn. Sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. I learned about it only yesterday from my brother Frank who saw it on facebook. Had I known sooner I would have attended the service.

I liked Uncle Jack a lot. He was always upbeat whenever I saw him. At your Mom's funeral in 2001 he was telling me about having had surgery to remove part of his colon - he told it in a way that was positive and cheerful.

Our sincere sympathy to your family at this sad time. We will forever cherish our summers together amid the sunflowers on Green Island. It's the end of a great era for all of us. May Jack finally be reunited with all his family watching over us all.
