Just finding out about John's passing and wanted to send my condolences to his family even though quite belated. Didn't know John super well, as he was in the pledge class after me and also, he intimidated the heck out of me. Over time, though, I could see that he was a gentle giant, of sorts, with an absolute, undeniable heart of gold. I was thinking about John recently and I am sad to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family. I enjoyed seeing and talking with John a couple of years ago at a Delt reunion in Baton Rouge. He was a great guy.

I have such fond memories of hanging out with John and friends while waiting in bridge traffic before and after school. Such a nice, fun guy. My condolences to his family.
