I have been a non-resident member of Farmington for over 25 years. I cannot remember a time when I didn´t see John when I was at the club, always greeted by that warm, friendly smile, wondering whether there was something he could do for me. Would there be more lovely people like John. I will miss him. His extended family are in my thoughts. Steve Smiley

He was lovely, kind person and a great representative of Farmington. He brought energy and a genuine desire to be of service every day and for many, he was the face of the Club.

Sending lots of love, thoughts, and prayers to John's entire family. John was always a joy to see and speak with at Farmington. His smile, work ethic, kindness, and flexibility were second to none. God bless John Wharton and his entire family.

When Frank, the show shine guy, in the men's locker room died, there was John, standing in. So many times I'd try to engage John personally. I'd gladly stand in for him in his many duties with pride now with his passing. With affection and admiration, I will miss you, John . John Lowry

John always greeted us with a smile . He was such a big help to us when we decorated the club at Christmas. Blessings of peace, strength and love to John´s family. He was one of the best!

John was such a lovely, sweet man. I met John when he started working at FCC and my days were always better when we ran across each other. To his dear wife and extended family, Colonel Spicuzza joins with me in sending our heartfelt sympathy.

Brian and I send lots of love to John's wife and family. John was such a big part of everything that is good about Farmington. He will always be part of the soul of FCC and in the hearts of all of those who had the pleasure of seeing him daily, weekly, or even every now and then. Thank you to Doris for sharing him with us.

I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. I would see John early in the morning working hard, but he always made time to give me a pleasant greeting. I looked forward to seeing him.
