Just hearing of John's passing,so sad,especially since our 50th HS reunion is only a few months away. What fun memories he left for us...Many of us remember our laughter and good times in HS with John fully involved. Our memories of John at Connersville HS are treasured even more now.

Most of us learn to love this very interesting earthly interval that comes between the period of our birth into our body, and our re-birth out of our body, for we have the desire to find joy in life, to give to it, to be thrilled by it and to achieve worth in it, but we must also strive to remember that life is not a destination, but a journey; and we should ultimately look with calm anticipation and with faith and love as to where the journey leads.

John's entrance into my life was a turning point. It will never be enough to say that he will be remembered. A loss like this is far too painful to reconcile. He was exactly who he was for so many reasons and it is because of this that his life was cut short he was defiant and unapologetic. The memories are everlasting and they bring me great comfort.
