John (JD) David White

My grandson, Spencer, shared JD's love of corvettes and couldn't stop grinning when he was allowed by JD to take this photo. JD was a good friend and a great neighbor who was always there when you needed an extra hand with a project, to plow the snow off the drives, or help cut down dead ash trees. Hope heaven includes cars, boats, and golf courses for him.

JD, 43 years ago, you asked me if I´d like to apply for a Distribution Clerk position at SLDC. That offer led to me maintaining gainful employment after leaving SLDC for the airline industry. Thank you, sir. Prayers of comfort for Jill and your families. RIP

JD was very special part of our lives. We spent many birthdays, New Year's Eve's, breaking eggs, kayaking, biking, farming, and getting beat every time in backgammon and bocce ball by him and Jill. Best people and car guy ever
