Not sure what to say?

To the Wickam Family
I was blessed to know John at Riverbend as a visiting Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister from Saint Patricks. John kindly shared a little about his incredible service in WWII. I introduced my son Patrick, who is a West Point cadet, to John. It was humbling to hear John share some great history with my son. God Bless

Mr. and Mrs. Wickham, John, Kelly & Bobby,
I am very sorry for your loss and am thinking of you and your families. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.
Hugs,
Erin Moreno

Uncle Johnny you will always be remembered, We love you and miss you incredibly!!!

I did some work at Johns house in Wellesley about sixteen years ago. He was such a nice man! I always think of him when I go by there. R.I.P

As the ombudsman at Riverbend, I had the opportunity to see John every week and enjoyed hearing stories about his family and his war days. He would always ask "How is the family"? When I answered everyone is fine, he would say "if your family is fine, you can not ask for anything else". When I would leave he would always give you that great hand shake and would say "great to see you, you made my day" when in fact he really made my day and I will greatly miss him on my visits.

Uncle Johnny was such a sweet and kind man. He had such a big heart and a wonderful spirit. Anyone who came in contact with him could not help but smile and love him. He will truely be missed! I am praying for all of you and rejoicing that he is back with Aunt Madeline. Love you all, Lisa Herran
