Not sure what to say?

I took Basic Training with John at Fort Polk, LA. We later got aquainted and he and Sandi came to Tennessee and we went to Memphis together for a few days. John was a great Christian person and Connie and I thought well of them.

Sandi my condolences to you in the loss of John. Appreciated his attendance at Cecil´s service in November. He and Cecil were long time friends both serving in Vietnam. My thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Victoria Gritz

I will always remember John's smile and quick wit. While I was serving on the Teller County Republican Central Committee, John would often offer well reasoned and thoughtful ideas and on a few occasions would help lighten a contentious moment with a bit of appropriate wit. I wish I could be there in person to extend my condolences. Please know he will be missed by many and it was a pleasure and honor to have known him. Thank you for sharing him with us.

I am saddened to read of John's passing. Best wishes to Sandi and the family.

I miss you so much, Dad. Thank you for all you were and all you did. I love you and always will.

We met John at the Little Chapel in Divide. We so enjoyed his stories, sense of humor, and his willingness to help others. He will be missed! Hugs, Sue and Cal Saylors

We know John and Sandi through Church and have always been greeted by both of them with a smile and usually a hug. Our sincere condolences to Sandi and the family. Prayers for you all for God's comfort, peace and healing during this sad time.

We loved being able to see him be a great grandfather to our son. The love he had for Liam was palpable. One of the last memories we had with him was him feeding Liam chocolate ice cream and letting him jump in his lap. It put a smile on our faces.
