My deepest condolences to Mrs. Mary Wieland and family on the loss of our beloved John. We worked together for many years while I was the Chairman of Radiology at the Evanston Hospital. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Mary and Family, John was always a cherished colleague. a valued consultant who helped me as I started practice in Evanston. His knowledge of his fields of law and medicine situated him in a class by himself. He honored me by referring Mary to me as a patient. He cared for many of my patients. I will remember for his honesty, talent and friendship.

My sincere sympathies to all John's family at this time of sorrow. We were colleagues at Holy Family. John was always friendly and welcoming, engaging, conversant and being in his company was always a pleasure. His devotion to his faith and the causes in which he believed were strong, as was his support for our mutual Alma Mater, Loyola Academy. He will be missed by many. My condolences to you go out with the hopes that solace will surpass sorrow for you all before long.
