Not sure what to say?

To Civita and Frank
We did not have the opportunity to know John and his family but as parents we can understand your grief. You and all of your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Earl and Ada

To Civita and Frank, I came across your son's obituary while browsing thru The Stamford Advocate quite randomly. Kindly acept my heartfelt condolences. My sympathies are directed primarily to each of you because I knew both of you so well. His wife and children are not excluded but I do not really know any of them and therefore I hope they will kindly excuse my apparent indifference. I'm sure the sorrow is magnified ever so much for you parents since you finally thought you had your son...

When I think of John to this day, he still brings a smile to my face. Some of my fondest memories from DHS and beyond include him. My sympathies go out to his whole family. God Bless John for all of his wonderful accomplishments and gifts to his family, friends and the U.S.A.

To the Wilcox family - John was so funny, caring and just an all around great guy. he will truly be missed. God bless him, may he rest in peace.

Dear Sarah, Emily, Luke, Mr/Mrs. Wilcox and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about John's death. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was such an awesome person, always upbeat and so much fun to be around and he was a very big and positive part of the DHS Class of 1982. Since then he has gone on to do many great things for our country. John has had such a positive effect on so many people. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Wilcox Family,

Please know that I am deeply saddened to hear about John. John and I met on my first day at SCSU and became instant friends. We spent a lot of time together back then and I have so many fond memories of John and all the good times that we shared.

Although many years have passed, I have never forgotten how special he was. There will always be a place in my heart just for John.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
