Here is something the I found on the web awhile back. I had misplaced it for some time. Tom was accepting recognition of former military service at NASA. I found it in a Marshal Labs newspaper on-line. A good physics student and a good researcher for NASA and Virgin Galactic. Probably the most optimistic guy I have ever known. He always believed a solution existed for any problem.

John was a study partner of mine at UAH when we were in the same physics or possibly EE101 class. He was former Navy, I was former Army and we had a former Air Force guy who rounded out our study group. I worked alongside him for a brief period at NASA. We both SCUBA dove and I recall following his efforts to involve his daughter in diving. He will be missed.

I meet TJ during senior year of high school in Branford Connecticut. I have great memories of that year as well as his father John senior and Elizabeth. I only saw TJ a few times after high school, but always found it easy to reconnect with him.
I have added a photo of TJ and his car taken in 1976 in Branford Connecticut. After getting his Master's in Applied...
