Not sure what to say?

I just heard of Johns passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Its heartbreaking.

My condolences to a good family - the Wilkinsons. John was the only one I never met, but I recall Mary, a lifetime ago at BC, regaling an anecdote or two about the times she would drop him off at St. Sebastian's, enroute to Chestnut Hill. Someone once told me that whether we're here 0 years or 100 years, it's all just a blip in time; seems like John made the most of his. God bless.

Cheryl, John, Lyndsey and Danny,

You all were the center of his world. He was so proud when Lyndsey followed you both to BC. He loved coaching John and Danny, and called Uncle Bob often to talk about the number of stikeouts Danny pitched, or the college coach who was coming to recruit him. We will forever remember the summer days on Bassett's Island finding Quohogs when you came to the cape to visit Nana and Papa. May he rest in peace.

Love Uncle Bob, Aunt Roberta, Sarah,...

Cheryl, so sorry to hear this news. Bumping into you both a couple of years ago, I could tell John hadn't changed a bit from when I had first met him back in the early '80s. There was a constancy to the way he approached life - never back down but laugh all the way.

I had the pleasure working with John for 5 years, good guy passionate about his job and others, he always listened when someone needed guidance. Unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to say thank you for hiring me when I was layed off. Thank you John.
