Janice, your father was a lucky man. The small "dash" between 1935(-)2014 held a lot. It contained a large, loving family, dignified work, and caring friends. He had many blessings in his life, and you were one of them. He was indeed a lucky man. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Wow, baseball will not be the same without that big smile, larger than life personality, and smell of his tobacco. I will miss seeing him take care of “Baseball Grandma” only the way he could. So helpful, so full of laughter, so kind. After 50+ years of being together, there was no doubt he loved and respected Grandma to the end.
