Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of meeting John´s wife and mother at the presentation of the John Barton Williams, MD Award presented to my daughter, Sarah Shore, on 5/8/2023. While Sarah will be attending Stanford for her Residency, Dr. Willams´ legacy will continue throughout Sarah´s medical care.

So very sad to hear of his passing! A terrible blow to his family and the medical community!

Prayers and condolences to the family. John’s service to Health care will be missed

Dr Williams repaired a torn tendon in my right elbow. I loved his enthusiasm. We also talked some football. He loved the Vols, but I was The Tide. Will miss him.

I am so sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He took great care of me before, during and after my surgery last year. He was a great man and will be greatly missed.

I'm a patient of Dr Williams. We was getting ready to plan surgery after getting a diagnosis of my hand at Ortho South in Southaven. He will be greatly missed. Sending prayers to his family.

Great surgeon and he took very good care of my son from the time of his injuries and every office visit. My sincere condolences to to his family.

I am so sad to hear about the tragic loss of this good man. I did not know Barton, but I have family members who did, and they have so many positive things to say about Dr. Williams. As a nurse, I know how badly we need good, well trained surgeons, so Dr. Williams passing is a huge loss to the entire Memphis & Covington communities as well. Prayers that God will be with and comfort each member of this family over the days and weeks ahead.

Dr Williams was an incredible doctor. He treated me after a car accident. He was a standup guy. Very professional, caring and really understood the pain I was in. During our first visit office visit my husband had a Boston ball cap on. Dr Williams said he went to school there after I mentioned I grew up in that area. At the end of the appt I said to him so where did you go to college? He was such a humble guy he quietly said Harvard. He certainly had bragging rights but that’s just the kind...
